BBC Tree O'Clock Record Attempt

As part of the BBC's attempt to break the world record for the most trees planted in multiple locations within one hour, fifty-one volunteers planted 553 native trees in 53 minutes on two locations within Kings Norton LNR. We planted on two sites, one on the north bank of the Rea alongside Wychall Lane, and the other adjoining the oak woodland on the ‘Peafields’ extension.  The planting covered a total area of 852 m2.  Many congratulations to all involved!
